Chlorine reacts with organic materials in the water to form harmful by – products, including dioxins, which are highly toxic and can bioaccumulate in the food chain.

These pollutants can have a devastating impact on aquatic ecosystems. They can reduce oxygen levels in the water, making it difficult for fish and other aquatic organisms to survive. The contamination can also lead to the destruction of habitats, such as wetlands and rivers. In addition, the polluted water may not be suitable for human consumption or other domestic uses, posing a threat to local communities.

To address these issues, we strive to partner with paper mills that have advanced water treatment systems. These systems are designed to remove pollutants from the wastewater before it’s discharged back into the environment.
